Junior Superintendent | GC Interiors

Job Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day job site supervision, including workers and subcontractors, overseeing workflow, ensuring safety, and providing daily updates to the main office.

  • Possesses full knowledge and understanding of the submittal process.

  • Potential to perform project manager functions depending on experience, managing multiple tasks, ensuring project specifications are met and all paperwork incomplete.

  • Is exceptionally well prepared for interviews.

  • Holds our subcontractors to the same standard of being Relentlessly Proactive.

  • Successfully complete projects on time and within quality margins.

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the status of every project under your


  • Properly plan schedule, and track projects and materials delivery to ensure company

    commitments are met.

  • Control project closeout and quality, by using a punchlist issued to subcontractors towards

    the end of the project.

  • Must be experienced in HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, Sprinkler, Steel, Drywall,

    Ceilings, and all finish trades.

    Client Relationships:

  • Proactively build and sustain relationships with all clients.

  • Initiate new projects with architects, engineers, and owners.

  • Ensure the subcontractor invoices are reviewed.

    Subcontractor Relationships:

  • Understands the subcontractors’ scope and contracts, and identifies opportunities and risks.

  • Plan the work with close communication with the subcontractors.

  • Track and document progress using logs and meetings.

  • Track schedule weekly identifying potential pitfalls or delays, mitigate delays.

  • Ensure the subcontractor’s invoices are reviewed.


  • 4+ years experience as job superintendent in interior commercial & MEP construction projects.

  • Proficient with email, Microsoft Office software, remote desktop login, Procore software is a must! Able to capture and attaching photos for daily job reports.

  • Completion of OSHA 10 and/or 30- hour Outreach Training.

  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to build a strong win-win relationship with the subcontractors and with the company.

  • Exceptional understanding and reading of blueprints.

  • Able to physically lift 100lbs.
