We are looking to recruit a full-time permanent IT Level 2 Support professional. The successful candidate will work as a key member of our IT Team in ensuring queries are dealt with in an efficient, professional and timely manner. You will be responsible for responding to user issues and queries and for the maintenance of infrastructure in daily operations and projects.
This role is site based in Ringaskiddy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
Ticket first line response. Provide regular updates to the business on timelines for resolution to issues
Perform general problem solving and assistance on diverse software applications and hardware systems
Perform technical assistance and maintenance duties; maintain and update ticket system
Maintain, records such as network users, security, and tracking inventory levels of equipment / materials
Perform systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; Troubleshoot system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts.
Participate in the review, evaluation and implementation of solutions relating to acquisitions and/or network updates
Perform the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and other related equipment and devices
Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards and/or systems
Support Enrollment reviews (extract users lists and profiles)
Periodic system Incident and change review data preparation
Quality action/deviation remediation support
Work with Lab Apps Support to support, trouble-shoot and execute data backups, disaster recovery testing
Escalate issues to Lab apps Support and IT Infrastructure Lead.
3rd Level Qualification / IT Technician or Equivalent
2-year experience in IT related industry, other experience may be considered.
Valid EU work Visa or eligible to work in Ireland (Note: this is an on-site position in Ringaskiddy)
The ideal candidate will also have:
Strong knowledge of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communication
GMP Understanding / Pharma lab experience
Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Deliver an exceptional customer experience
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Candidate should be able to work on own initiative and as part of a Team
Candidate should have excellent attention to detail
