Senior Data Engineer – Galway

Our client, a large financial service company who won Best Place to Work 2023, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing global team.  This role is based in Galway but only need to come to office 5 days a month (hence it is very flexible and can mostly work from home if preferred!).
 
Key Skills:

• Hands on experience working as a software engineer (ideally 5+years)  specializing in database technology (ideally Oracle).
• Expertise writing Oracle PLSQL and performing data analysis.
• Knack for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code.
• Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to CI/CD continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
• Passionate about engineering excellence with a strong understanding of modular design, object-orientated programming, and sound testing practices.
