Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process for our commercial interiors fit-out projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and a proven track record of success. They will be responsible for working closely with our project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely estimates for all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates for commercial interiors fit-out projects.
• Working closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather information and ensure all project requirements are met.
• Conducting site visits and performing takeoffs to ensure accurate quantities are estimated.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure a competitive edge in bidding and securing work.
• Creating and submitting bids and proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns and other supporting documentation.
• Evaluating subcontractor quotes and negotiating pricing and terms as necessary.
• Participating in project kick-off meetings to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to construction.
• Tracking and reporting project costs, including change orders and other adjustments, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and other team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial interiors fit-outs.
• Strong proficiency in estimating software, including Procore and Stack.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex project plans and specifications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of success in estimating and securing commercial interiors fit-out projects.
