Digital Platform Administrator

Role Profile: 

Reporting to the head of operations, the position of portal administrator is a new role within the team. The Portal Administrator will be responsible for supporting current platforms and instrumental in leading the introduction and adoption of existing and new digital services to employees & customers across the business. The role will suit individuals who display high energy, are flexible, enthusiastic, confident and thrive on working on their own initiative. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support and management of the online portals
  • Ensure the pricing and product information is correct and up to date
  • Extract and query data from multiple data sources and analysing the data to present it in a graphical way so the business can better understand the data, using Excel or other online tools
  • Ensure all banners and customisable design is correct and up to date
  • Liaise with our customers marketing teams to ensure their marketing strategy is being deployed correctly on the site
  • Work closely with internal teams in supporting other ad hoc administration
  • Contribute to individual, team, and department sales objective
  • Support and coordinate with the various internal departments as required
  • Quickly gaining a detailed understanding of the Company service and product offerings will be essential
  • Liaising with our internal departments to ensure any issues are resolved quickly so that the Portals are always 100% operational and profitable.
Knowledge, Skills & Experiences: 
  • 1-2 years administration experience in a busy and demanding environment
  • A recognised University Degree or equivalent, preferably but not essential specialising in Business, Management Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Strong Excel skills are mandatory, including pivot tables, advanced VLOOKUP’s/formulas and the ability to extract and manipulate large blocks of data within excel and presenting it in a graphical way
  • Ability to deal with internal & external parties to understand the data they want and present it to them in an intuitive way
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining an ability to multi-task without losing focus
  • Very strong communication skills particularly in relation to interfacing with internal teams, clients, and other departments
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Results driven with high levels of enthusiasm, drive and energy and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to balance working on your own and as part of a team in a pressurised environment to demanding objectives
